Ford Focus likely to be launched in India

Ford India, A subsidiary of US based leading car maker Ford, may launch its famous Ford Focus model in India. The new Ford Focus model was showcased at recently held Beijing Auto Show, where it attracted a large number of car enthusiasts and visitors. The new Ford Focus model can help the company in capitalizing on the potential growth exists in China and across the Asia Pacific and Africa region.
 
The new Ford Focus model is expected to be powered with new Ford EcoBoost engine which provides an enhanced fuel economy as well as cut down the emission level. Ford EcoBoost combines direct petrol injection and turbocharging in smaller-displacement engines to give customers outstanding fuel economy and reduced CO2 with the spirited performance they expect from a larger engine, as claimed by the Ford Motors in a statement.

As Ford's recently launched hatcback Figo is receiving a very good response in India with high demand, It is expected that the Focus model may be launched in a sedan version. If Ford Focus model will be launched in sedan version, it will be competing with some of the most popular entry level sedan cars in India including Maruti Swift Dzire and SX4, and Hyundai Verna. In the same segment, sedan versions of Volkswagen Polo and Toyota Etios are expected to be launched.
