Dacia Duster to start taking pre orders in UK from June 28 onwards
Whereas Indian auto market is eying on the launch of compact SUV Renault duster, Renault's Dacia brand has recently announced the pre-ordering plans of Duster for Britain. As per the company officials, it will start taking online pre-orders with a deposit of £100 as soon as it announces the specifications and prices on June 28. Dacia said that the range of the coming compact SUV Duster's front wheel drive versions' priced is expected to be lesser than £10,000 (US$16,000), whereas 4x4 models might start from less than £12,500 (US$ 19,900). Duster which is available in three powerplants for both 4x4 and 4x2 in Europe has not yet confirmed the engine range for UK.

Dacia SUV's right hand driven models (4x4 and 4x2) will be manufactured at the Nisaan- Renault Alliance facility based in Orgadam, Chennai. Dacia's Duster has got a different grill as compared to Renault's model. The first model of the SUV will arrive in January 2013 in UK dealerships. While in India its launch is pushed to pre-Diwali festive season. Price of Renault Duster in India has not been made official yet. Besides the Duster, Dacia will be launching the sandero Supermini as well in the UK in lesser than £7,000.
