CNG kit for Maruti Alto launched

Today on 17th July, India's largest passenger car manufacturer and second largest passenger car exporter Maruti launched the CNG kit for its most popular small car model Maruti Alto. Maruti Alto is the highest selling small car in Indian market and Maruti recently launched the new variant of Maruti Alto with the name Flash. With the launch of CNG kit for Maruti Alto that will be priced at Rs 43,545 (in New Delhi), the company hopes that it will boost up the sales of Maruti Alto.

Today on 17th July, India's largest passenger car manufacturer and second largest passenger car exporter Maruti launched the CNG kit for its most popular small car model Maruti Alto. Maruti Alto is the highest selling small car in Indian market and Maruti recently launched the new variant of Maruti Alto with the name Flash. With the launch of CNG kit for Maruti Alto that will be priced at Rs 43,545 (in New Delhi), the company hopes that it will boost up the sales of Maruti Alto.

The company official said in a statement that the Maruti authorised CNG kits can be fitted to all variants of Maruti Alto and it will be available through all the dealers of Maruti in only Delhi and NCR from July 17th onwards. The retrofitted CNG Maruti Alto would come with a 12-kg tank that would accommodate 7-7.5 kg of Compressed Natural Gas, it added.

Maruti Alto has emerged as the most preferred small car model in Indian market for its comfortable driveability, higher mileage, low price tag and overall reliability. We are confident that Maruti Alto with a CNG kit makes this car even more attractive for customers, Maruti Suzuki Chief General Manager Shashank Srivastava said.
