Hyundai's Creta Crosses 70,000 Bookings; Eyes Global Market

Even before Creta set its foot in the Indian market, customers lined up to book this Hyundai SUV. After 4 months of its launch, the car is performing well in the market and was the best selling SUV before Bolero took over the tag with just a few hundred units more. Continuing its successful trail, Creta again received a good response in the overseas markets . Hyundai has booked over 70,000 units in India and recorded around 15,770 bookings and orders globally and is now planning to further increase the production of Creta from 9,000 units to 10,000 units to meet global demand. The international market for Creta mainly include Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. In September, Hyundai had to increase the production of Creta to 7,000 units after receiving a massive 40,000 bookings which resulted in increasing the waiting period for procuring a model to 9 months.
