No other changes have been made to the Honda City Hybrid following the price update

While it is usually seen with carmakers hiking the prices of their offerings over time, Honda has taken a different approach and has reduced the prices of the Honda City Hybrid by a significant margin. With this update, no other feature has been added or deleted from the Japanese hybrid offering. Here’s what the City Hybrid is priced at currently, compared to the previous prices.

Honda offers the City Hybrid with both metallic and pearl colour options. Pearl hues cost Rs 8,000 more than the regular ZX trim.

Honda City Hybrid: An Overview

The Honda City Hybrid gets a similar-looking sleek design to the regular model. It features slim LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs complemented by a chrome strip that spans the fascia of the car. It also gets a honeycomb mesh grille and pixel-shaped LED fog lamps. In profile, it gets dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, and at the rear, it sports LED tail lights with a ‘Z’ shaped insignia.

Inside, it has a dual-tone black and beige cabin theme, a 3-spoke steering wheel, and a clean-looking dashboard with an 8-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch driver’s display featuring an analogue speedometer.

In terms of features, other than the touchscreen, it gets a single pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, an 8-speaker sound system and auto AC with rear vents. On the safety front, it is equipped with 6 airbags, rear parking camera with sensors, a LaneWatch camera, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and a Level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite.

The Honda City Hybrid gets the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine from the regular model and adds a hybrid system to it. Here are the detailed specifications:
