Ferrari ends its dealership with Shreyans Group
Ferrari, the Italian sports car manufacturer has terminated its contract with the exclusive Indian dealer- Automobili Italia Private Limited, owned by Shreyans Group. Ferrari is now contacting its customers directly and is yet to appoint a new official representative in the country.

The Italian automaker terminated the contract in the light of many customer complaints lodged due to the poor after sales service by the Shreyans Group. The company known for its expensive, high performance cars entered in India in 2011 and gave Automobili Italia Private Limited, full rights to import and sell its iconic cars. Termination of the contract is another big blow to Ashish Chordia (Owner-Shreyans Group) who recently lost a case against the Porsche in Jaipur High court, in which Chordia filled a petition that the German manufacturer has unlawfully terminated his dealership. The official statement from the Ferrari clearly mentioned,“Automobili Italia Private Ltd (set up by Shreyans Group specially for Ferrari) is no longer the official Ferrari importer in India.” “Ferrari is contacting all clients to ensure assistance with all matters relating to the ownership experience in the absence of an official representative in India until such time as a new importer is appointed.”
People having bad experience with Shreyans Group filed official complaints and among one such that gathered media attention was the fiery remark by Raymond Group Chairman and Managing Director, Gautam Singhania on Twitter handle in which he tweeted, “ It’s completely shameful how Ashish Choradia is taking Ferrari customers for a ride. Outright cheating. And Ferrari sitting quite.”
