    WagonR Thing Big Challenge 3 a Big Success

    Statistics say that the season 3 of the Think Big Challenge 3 which is an initiative by the Maruti Suzuki WagonR is already a huge success. Considered to be as one of the most popular business challenges of the country, Wagon R Think Big Challenge 3 has attracted impressive 36,318 registrations in this season. This gets even better as the competition this year has improved in terms of quality of the business ideas and around 339 bright, fresh and distinct entrepreneurial ideas have been received alone from Mumbai among a total of 2,385 unique ideas.

    In the words of the Chief General Manager for Marketing for Maruti Suzuki India, Mr. Manohar Bhat, the third season of the Thing Big Challenge has received an overwhelming response which is a proof of the diverse talent pool budding in India that excels in innovation and creativity. He also stated that the through the route of the Wagon R Think Big Challenge 3, the company wishes to channel this potential and use it further in getting progressive and useful results. The Think Big Challenge acts as a platform for young entrepreneurs to exhibit their talent by putting forward innovative and creatively excellent business ideas to venture capitalists; this is aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship.

    This season has seen some absolutely inspiring ideas; one of which involves the integration of the breath analyzer with the ignition of the car as well as the acceleration system and resultantly the car would start or even move at a very low speed depending on the alcohol intake by the driver. The first prize awarded in the General or the Mainline Category include a cash prize worth Rs. 10 lakh, new Maruti WagonR and funds by venture capitalist to materialize the business idea. As an extra opportunity in this season, the company is offering monetary and infrastructural support during the incubation period of the business ideas that have been shortlisted.
