Testing Variants of Ford EcoSport Caught in Lens in Brazil
The Bahia state of Brazil has recently witnessed some exciting and non-camouflaged testing variants of the much-awaited upcoming Ford SUV known as EcoSport traversing the roads. The car markets of Brazil and China are expected to be the first markets to witness the launch of the newfangled Ford EcoSport this year; this car is also expected to take on the likes of the Renault Duster and Nissan Juke. The camouflage was taken out as it was needed post the media preview which happened last month.

The Beijing Motor show had also witnessed the exhibition of the car and the Indian website of the same has also received some revelations about the features of this neoteric Ford SUV. The spied testing variants reveal that the Ford EcoSport will be offered in different trim levels across the world and the top end variant of which will be affixed with flashily stylish alloy wheels and fittings with the same colour as that of the body.
On the other hand the lower trim variants will sport the pressed steel wheels, non-metallic paint with less pizzaz and work inserts on the body. Ford India is also anticipated to roll out this SUV here and it would be interesting to see if the car flaunts roof rails and rear spoiler as the standard features. The India version of the Ford EcoSport SUV is expected to hit the Indian shores in the early 2013 equipped with 1-liter EcoBoost and 1.5-liter diesel engines that are currently doing duty in the Ford Fiesta sedan.
