Tata is offering two battery packs and charger options with the newly launched Tiago EV. The latter are available only with the top-spec XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux trims. The XZ+ Tech Lux is also packing in a few more features to make the experience a tad premium. Is it reasonable enough to stretch your budget, though?

Why Consider The Tiago EV XZ+ Tech Lux?

If you want a fully equipped Tiago EV with either a 3.3kW or 7.2kW AC charger, the XZ+ Tech Lux is your only option. It is also in this trim that the premiumness is the most enhanced thanks to the inclusion of leatherette seats, push-button start/stop, leather-wrapped steering wheel and electric tailgate release. And if you are someone who likes a dual-tone exterior on the car, it is only this trim which comes with the option of a contrasting black roof.

What Could Have Been Better About The Tiago EV XZ+ Tech Lux?

Tata has done a good job by offering a bunch of features in the Tiago EV, some of which are even from segments above such as cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system. However, we feel Tata could have done better by offering more for the money such as alloy wheels or maybe larger 15-inch wheels, air purifier and adjustable headrests at the rear.
