Tata Motors February sales at 77,543 nos.

Tata Motors consolidated sales figures (which also includes exports) for the Tata passenger cars and commercial vehicles is 77,543 cars for the month of February 2011. The Indian company registered a growth of 12 per cent compared with the last year's same time sales figures of 69,427 cars. If looking at the domestic sales of the Indian auto company's passenger cars and commercial vehicles for the last month was 73,039 cars over 66,190 cars rolled out in 2010 February, accelerating to a growth of 10 per cent.

Tata Motors passenger cars registered total sales of 33,751 car (it includes sales of 31,909 of Tata cars and 1842 sales of Fiat cars) in India against 29,238 cars (Tata :26,985 and Fiat: 2,253) for the same period, accounting to a hike of 15 per cent. For February 2011, the sales of Tata passenger cars are 31,909 cars which accounts an increase by 18 per cent when compared with the sales of February 2010. Tata Nano made its entry back by rolling out 8,262 units and climbing by 101 per cent against the last year sales in February. The Tata Indica sales accounted to be 10,044 units increasing by 12.7 per cent compared with the sales of last time in February. Tata Indigo raised by 22 per cent by rolling out 8,966 units. Tata Sumo, Tata Safari, Tata Aria, Tata Venture registered a sale of 4,637 cars increasing by 16 per cent against same time in last year. Jaguar Land Rover were also showcasing increasing sales.

The total sales and distribution of the passenger cars in the Indian auto market for the present fiscal year are 289,695 cars (Tata : 270,818 and Fiat: 18,877) when compared with the last year's sales of 229,789 cars (Tata : 207,169 and Fiat: 22,620) which accounts to be greater by 26 per cent. The total sales of the Tata passenger cars in February 2011 were 270,818 units registering an increase of 31 per cent against 207,169 units for the same time in 2010. The total sales of Tata Nano raised to 141 per cent accounting to be 61,725 cars over 25,640 units in February 2010. Tata Indica total sales accounted are 90,908 units showcasing a decrease of 11 per cent, while Tata Indigo rose by 64 per cent by selling 80,728 units. The total sales of Tata Sumo, Tata Safari, Tata Aria were 37,457 climbing high by 26 per cent.

Tata Motors export figure sales accounted to be 4,504 cars in February 2011 accounted an increase of 39 per cent against 3,237 units in February 2010. The total sales from the exports for the financial year were 52,112 units rose by 73 per cent against last years sales at the same time which was 30,036 units.
