Tata Aria to launch in a month
Tata Motors is looking forward to gift its users with a treat this festive season as Tata Aria, a cross over between MUV and SUV would soon be launched and most likely within a month. The cross-over would offer staunch competition to its contemporaries in the segment including Toyota Innova and M&M's Xylo. The car was earlier unveiled at the auto expo and has been marked as an Indian crossover designed by Indian engineers.

According to the industry sources the car is expected to be shelved at about Rs. 10 Lakhs. It is widely speculated that the company is keen to launch the car in the coming festive season as the Indian buyers tend to invest the heaviest during the season. In order to tap a huge chunk of cross over buyers, Tata Motors seems to have packed the vehicle with attractive features.

One aspect that is expected to provide a niche to Tata Aria as against Xylo or Innova would be the competitive price that the vehicle would be tagged at. As of now there are no revelations in terms of the exact launch date an price tag of the car and the company would declare the same at the time of launch.

Tata Aria would sport a 2.2-litre common rail diesel engine to provide a performance par excellence. The vehicle would blend the functionality and comfort of a mid-range MPV with the all-terrain assurance and premiumness of an SUV. Some of the safety features that would find space in Aria's packing include 6 airbags and Electronic Stability Program (ESP.Currently, the company offers Safari and Sumo Grande in the segment of SUVs and MUVs.
