Suzuki to Present New Swift Sport at Sydney Motor Show

Japanese auto giant Suzuki which ranks 4th among the Japanese auto manufacturing giants, has prepared a new Sports version of the Swift for the 2012 Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. The motor show is to take place between the 19th to the 28th of October and will showcase this latest presentation from Suzuki.

According to Suzuki, this offering from the company is a one-off concept that was designed by the Swift brand’s chief engineer, Naoyuki Takeuchi. Needless to say the Swift Sport looks exceedingly sporty. It features a racing platform body kit consisting of a bulging front spoiler, racing style side skirts, a rear diffuser encased in chrome and a large roof wing. The wheels are shod in very low profile performance tyres. Since this is still a one-off concept by Takeuchi, there is as yet no confirmation on a production scale model of the car.

Suzuki has remained vague on the engine specifics and we are as yet unsure if the 1.6-litre Swift engine has undergone any changes. The 2011 Geneva Salon show also showed off a similar Swift Sport with the same 1.6-litre engine that rocked a good 134bhp.
