The Czech automaker has also replaced the alloy wheels on the Style variant of the Skoda Kushaq

  • The bigger 10-inch touchscreen system was offered when the Slavia and Kushaq made their market debut but rolled back due to supply chain issues.

  • It is only available with the top-spec Style variants of both the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq.

  • Both of these models also get electrically adjustable front seats and illuminated footwell.

  • The 10-inch touchscreen system is already available with the Monte Carlo edition of the Skoda Kuhshaq.

  • Both Slavia and Kushaq's prices start at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom pan India).

The Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq have now regained the 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which was temporarily unavailable due to a shortage of semiconductor chips. This infotainment system is available in the top-spec Style variants of both models. However, it's worth noting that the larger touchscreen system was already being offered with the Monte Carlo edition of the Kushaq.

Skoda has recently revised the price list of both cars, also reducing their prices for a limited period of time. Click here to see variant-wise revised prices.

More Features On Offer

Apart from the larger 10-inch touchscreen system, both models in the Style variant now also receive electrically adjustable front seats and footwell illumination. Other common features on both the Slavia and Kushaq include an 8-inch digital driver's display, a single-pane sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Additionally, the Ambition Plus variant of the Slavia features a built-in dashcam.

In terms of safety, both cars come with up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-hold assist and a rear parking camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Different Alloy Wheels On The Kushaq

Previously, the Style variant of the Skoda Kushaq came equipped with dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. However, it has now been replaced by a simpler-looking set of silver alloy wheels of the same size. On the other hand, the Monte Carlo edition of the Kushaq continues to feature the 5-spoke dual-tone 17-inch wheels. For reference, Skoda labels both wheel designs by the same name, VEGA.

Powertrain Options

Both Skoda Slavia and Kushaq get two engine options: a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (115PS/178Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit (150PS/250Nm). Both engines can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, but the former comes with the optional 6-speed automatic transmission and the latter gets the 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).

Price Range & Rivals

As Skoda has reduced the base-prices of both cars for a limited time, the Slavia and Kushaq now start at Rs 10.89 lakh. The Slavia tops at Rs 19.12 lakh, while the Kushaq goes up to Rs 20.01 lakh.

The Slavia takes on the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Ciaz. On the other hand, Skoda Kushaq rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun and Citroen C3 Aircross.
