The carmaker has invited entries from enthusiastic designers across the country

Skoda India has announced a competition for all enthusiastic designers and visualisers in India. As part of the competition, participants will have to design the camouflage for an upcoming Skoda car. The competition is open to individuals, design students and studios, with the only limiting criterion being that the participants should be 18 years or older.

The camouflage design will be for the upcoming compact sedan from Skoda, which will be the successor to the Rapid sedan. It has already been spied on multiple occasions and will be launched in India before the end of the year.

The winner of the competition will not only have their work featured on an upcoming Skoda model but will also get the chance to meet the Head of Design at Skoda, Oliver Stefani, at Skoda’s headquarters in Prague.

The competition will be judged by Gurpratap Boparai (Managing Director of all Volkswagen brands in India), Zac Hollis, Brand Director of Skoda India, and Oliver Stefani. Top entries will be revealed on August 23, after which a winner will be announced. While the winner will travel to Prague to meet Oliver Stefani, the runner-up will get a design tablet, and the three remaining finalists will receive Skoda gift bags. Participants can submit their work at www.camowithskoda.com by August 18.
