Offers Up To Rs 2 Lakh Can Be Availed On Volkswagen Cars This Onam 2025

The festival of Onam is going to be held between August 26 and September 5, 2025 and in an attempt to commemorate the festival, Volkswagen is offering customers in Kerala discounts for the Virtus, Taigun and Tiguan R-Line. These discounts include cash, exchange, scrappage and loyalty bonuses which range up to Rs 2 lakh. If you are keen to own a car this August 2025, here are the model-specific offers for the Volkswagen cars:

Volkswagen Taigun

• Variants with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine do not get any cash discounts, however the scrappage bonus and loyalty benefits are the same across all variants of the compact SUV. 

• Customers are entitled to only one amongst the exchange or scrappage bonuses. Same goes for loyalty and corporate discounts, where only one can be used.

• With the 1-litre TSI engine, the cash discounts are different with the Highline Plus MT getting Rs 30,000 off, the Highline Plus AT getting Rs 25,000 off, the Topline MT having Rs 20,000 off and the Topline AT featuring Rs 50,000 off. 

• Exchange bonuses range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 80,000 for the 1-litre TSI engine depending on the variant you pick. The 1.5-litre variants get a standard Rs 80,000 exchange bonus.

• Some variants are also offered with special ex-showroom prices this Onam, here are the details:

• Prices of the Taigun range from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

Volkswagen Virtus

• Like the Taigun, the Virtus also does not get any cash discount with the 1.5-litre TSI variants.

• The Topline trims of 1-litre TSI engine get Rs 20,000 cash discount.

• While exchange bonuses with the 1.5-litre engine variants are the same at 50,000, for the 1-litre options these range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 80,000.

• The exchange and loyalty bonuses of variants with both engine options are standard at Rs 20,000.

• Like the Taigun, some variants of the Virtus also get special pricing for some variants. Here are the details: 

• Prices of the Virtus range between Rs 11.56 lakh and Rs 19.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

Volkswagen Tiguan R Line

• The Tiguan R-Line comes in a single fully-loaded variant in India that gets a flat cash discount of Rs 2 lakh.

• Volkswagen is also offering exchange and scrappage bonuses with the Tiguan R-Line, but only one between the two offers can be availed by the customers.

• Loyalty benefits worth Rs 50,000 are also being provided by the carmaker, but customers can either choose this or a corporate discount, not both. 

• The Tiguan R-Line is priced at Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Notes: 

• Offers are valid only customers in Kerala till August 31, 2025. 

• Some Virtus and Taigun models manufactured in 2024 also receive discounts throughout the month.
