Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV to be launched by 2012
Hindustan Motors has finally given its verdict to launch the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV in India most probably in January 2011 at the time of the Auto Expo. The launch of Pajero Sport was on the list of HM for quite a long time but due to economic rising of Yen HM was unable to decide the price of Pajero Sport in the competitive market.

Japan is going through a hard time as the Japanese currency has shot up around 13 percent within a time span of one year. Due to this Inflation in the value of Yen, HM has already planned some hardcore combat strategies to manufacture and assemble its latest SUV in HM’s Thiruvallur factory in Tamil Nadu , which is at present the manufacturing unit for the current Mitsubishi Pajero which satisfy the BS IV criterion. HM after analyzing the current market standards plans to launch Mitsubishi Pajero Sport at the range of Rs 20-23 lakh.

Looking at the specifications we get The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 5-litre 16-valve intercooled turbocharged diesel engine which produces 134bhp of peak power and 32kgm of torque like a beast. It is equipped with Mitsubishi’s rally gear which has a Super Select 4WD and a high ground clearance of 215mm which automatically proves its utility in adventurous terrain. Also an interesting feature is the new extra row seats which makes the Pajero more of a camping vehicle.

please let me know how many models are being launched in india,wheter it is Manual or automatic,what will be the size of alloy wheel which will be launched in india.
