Mitsubishi Mirage could be India bound
The Japanese car manufacturer, Mitsubishi had showcased the sketch of its global small car,christened Mitsubishi Mirage during the 2011 Geneva Auto Expo. The auto giant is all set to unveil the small car next month at the Tokyo Motor Show. Mitsubishi as of now lacks a hatchback in its portfolio in India, therefore it is being speculated that Mirage can head towards India to fill the vacuum. Mirage could turn out to be a life-saver for Mitsubishi to pull itself together to get back on track. Therefore the probability is high that the Japanese auto giant might launch the hatchback in India next year.

Mitsubishi is said to launch the new car initially in the month of March in Thailand market, followed by the launch in Japan sometime during the mid 2012. As the rumour has it, the Mitsubishi Mirage is expected to replace the Mitsubishi Colt, which will clear the way to accommodate the former in the vacated slot. Depending on the response for the hatchback, Mitsubishi might consider an electronic version of the Mirage.
