Mahindra to add six new cars by 2013

Mahindra seems to be climbing the ladder of success faster than many. Among the frenzy of new vehicles from Mahindra and Mahindra which are no less than 27 in all including the two-wheelers and the commercial vehicles, the auto major has made a big time announcement at the 2012 Auto Expo. The next two years are very crucial for the home grown auto manufacturer who believes that they are going to add another 6 new passenger cars by end of FY2012-2013. Mahindra Verito sedan in a compact form is one of the six while the M&M is not yet finished with its utility car manufacturing.

Another SUV project also seems to be on high priority among the upcoming launches. Mahindra Verito is their one and only sedan offered in the domestic car market. And the auto major is keen on experimenting amply on its only sedan which though is not a volume puller by any means, but is just perfect to be offered with an electric variant or a shortened version of it.

While Mahindra Reva NXR was nothing short of an eye-candy at the Auto Expo with the powerful mileage numbers, the SsangYong Rexton is still shrouded with mystery. M&M did not quite make it clear as to the branding for the majestic SUV nor did it come up yet with the pricing strategy for it.
