Takeaway

Tata had already announced a hike of upto Rs 40,000 across its product range due to an increase in fuel prices and input costs. So, it's a good way of offsetting the increased prices even if it’s not by much. If you are a frequent buyer and change your vehicle frequently, say, in two to three years, buying the 2019 version makes a lot more sense for you. But if you are a keeper and would not let go of your car for at least five years then you can go ahead and put your money on the 2018 model and save some more. Bear in mind that the offers are valid only till 15th January 2019.
