Jaguar F-Type Coupe Launched in India
Jaguar, the ultra-luxury carmaker has finally launched the all-new F-Type coupe at the price of Rs. 1.21 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The beast is certainly dynamically capable and performance oriented sports car that the company has ever developed. The sports car is available in three versions- F-Type R, F-Type S and F-Type, just like its Convertible sibling. The top range model has been priced at Rs. 1.82 crore.
The performance oriented sports car is powered with Jaguar's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing max power of 542.8bhp of massive power. The coupe cruises from 0-100kmph in mere 4 seconds, and achieves the top speed of 290kmph (electronically limited). The other two variants- F-Type S coupe and F-Type coupe sports both come powered with a 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine, which develops power outputs as 374.8bhp and 335.8bhp. The S Coupe takes around 4.8 seconds to cover 0-100kmph mark and touches the top speed of 275kmph. On the other hand, the base variant takes 5.1 seconds to sprint upto 100kmph speed, and top speed of 260kmph is possible to be reached. The engine is clubbed with eight-speed close-ration quickshift transmission.
In terms of design and styling details, the Jaguar C-X16 sports coupe showcases architecturally marvelous piece of work. The body is made out of single-piece aluminium pressing, that allows to bring a very clean and attractively designed model without the use of joints across the body. It features roof with both options of aluminium and panoramic glass, LED taillamps and a tapered rear spoiler adds to the beauty of the rear side of car. Also gets innovative technologies that includes second generation electronic active differential and torque vectoring for braking.
