Under the hood, the CR-V Special Edition is likely to be powered by the same 2.0-litre petrol engine as the regular model. It makes 154PS and 189Nm mated to a CVT.

Honda is expected to launch the CR-V Special Edition by Diwali 2020. It will be offered in limited numbers but Honda might introduce the updates on the standard CR-V as well in the coming future. It will continue to compete with the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq petrol.
