Honda Brio bookings re-open
Honda India is now accepting bookings for their compact hatchback, Brio. Hatchback can be booked across all Honda dealer showrooms in the country. Honda did not accept any bookings for Brio after Thailand was hit by major flood disaster last year, which badly affected the Honda facility centre in Thailand. The floods severely affected the production of their hatchback models Honda Brio and Honda Jazz. Honda started securing parts from Japan and China, and slowly gained the momentum in production of their cars. Honda resumed their manufacturing facility in India just one week back. Now the company is working at double pace to clear the vehicles, which were on hold for a long period. Honda is hoping to clear all the orders and narrow down the waiting period for Jazz and Brio hatchbacks.

Honda Brio and Honda Jazz share similar engine, but Jazz comes under the premium hatchback. Honda Brio is available in 1.2 liter i-VTEC petrol engine, which produces 89 Bhp and 109 Nm of torque.

The compact hatch comes fitted with 5 geared manual gear box and offers a decent mileage too. Honda Brio price starts at Rs 3.95 lakhs and goes upto Rs 5.10 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).

Honda is also planning to launch Honda Civic and CR-V in diesel version. But this might take some time because their first priority would be clearing all the orders and bring down the waiting period for their cars.
