Here You Go, Honda Brio Facelift Leaked!

Time has come when Brio will receive its midlife upgrade and besides aesthetic updates to its exteriors, Brio facelift is most likely to get a new dashboard like 2016 Honda Mobilio!  

Honda Brio facelift has been spied for the first time. The Japanese automaker’s smallest hatchback has been on sale since 2011 and is long due for a mid-life update. Honda recently launched an updated 2016 Mobilio for the Indonesian market which featured a new dashboard along with subtle stylistic makeover. It is expected that Brio will borrow this new dashboard and eventually it will also be seen in updated Amaze too.  

Spied vehicle is an indication that Brio facelift might get an RS version as the vehicle in the image features projector headlamps with LED light guide, similar to that of Mobilio RS. Coming to the grille, Brio's tiny grille has been replaced with a wider one seen on the Mobilio. The new grille imparts a wider stance and will add a new character to the front profile. The front bumper also gets styling cues from its slightly more expensive sibling, Honda Jazz. The alloy wheel seen here appears to be diamond cut, which again indicates that Honda might launch an RS form of Brio this time. The stock version might not feature projector headlamps or flashy alloy, but it will probably get the new grille and other changes. There are no pictures for the rear profile of the vehicle as of now.

Mechanically, Honda Brio facelift is expected to retain the same 1.2-liter i-VTEC motor in the same state of tune, available with manual and automatic options. There are no possibilities for Honda’s 1.5-liter diesel to be offered with the Brio.
