Ford to make 10-12 body styles of Fiesta platform
Ford Motors unveiled its new global vehicle, Ford EcoSport yesterday at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. This new automobile by Ford is built on B2E platform, which showed a lot of promise. Now, Ford has announced that it is planning to develop about ten to twelve body styles on B2E platform, which sounds like a lot of business for Ford now.

Amongst these body styles, there are slight chances of a hatchback and MPV to be built on B2E platform in future. The new Ford Fiesta has also been developed on the very successful B2E platform. The cars built on this platform are geared up with twist beam rear suspension that ensures more robustness in the entire construction along with MacPherson strut.
