Force Motors intends to set up a new manufacturing plant

The Pune-based auto manufactures have been in news regarding the development of its first ever advancement in the SUV segment. The SUV christened to be Force One is expected to be launched in August this year. The Force One SUV had started campaigning for its new SUV much before the launch, to build up the interest in the customers by launching a wholly dedicated website for the Force Once SUV. It is also reported that, the Force Motors is in the process of manufacturing a MUV to take upon Chevrolet Tavera in the Indian auto market. It is also believed that the Indian auto makers, Force Motors are involved in discussions with Madhya Pradesh government with respect to their acquisition of land to set up a manufacturing plant. The proposed manufacturing plant at Pithampur is supposed to manufacture the probable MUV in future.

The new plant is hoped to begin the manufacturing of the MUV towards end of 2012. The new plant will be able to produce 24,000 units initially, however, it foresees to increase the production capacity to meet the demands.

Now, for the Force One launch, on which there were many speculations earlier, hoped to be launched towards the July end initially, which is now expected to be launched by August as of now. Nevertheless, the spied Force One images had been leaked on many websites earlier which shows a robust vehicle with imposing presence and aggressive masculine look about it that promises dynamism, comfort and good fuel efficiency at the same time. The new SUV is believed to be equipped with a powerful 2.2 litre common rail diesel engine which is Daimler sourced. The Force One price is speculated to be in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, which is a competitive price and ready to challenge Tata Safari and Mahindra Scorpio in the market shortly.
