Fiat to launch new Fiat Linea next year

The new model of Fiat Linea with a 1.9L engine will be showcased at the New Delhi Auto Show 2010. This new facelifted car model, Fiat Linea 1.9L engine, will have more power and flash. At present, 1.3L diesel and 1.4L petrol engine is used in Fiat Linea. On the other hand, the company has many options as it has 1.3L, 1.6L and 1.9L's of engine. Fiat India's manager, Rajeev Kapoor said that the company will introduce a more powerful vehicle in the Auto Show. He said that over 10,000 units of Fiat Linea had been sold since its launch in January 2009. Mr Kapoor added that Fiat Linea and Fiat Grande Punto would be exported to overseas market in a short period. Nevertheless, 250 units of car has already been shipped to South Africa. The company will export the car to Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan at the priority base and then the turn comes of New Zealand and Australia. Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Yeti are going to launch in the months to come.
