Fiat Linea & Fiat Punto drive major April sales for Fiat

Fiat India recorded a growth of 57% in its sales figure for the month of April'2010, of which major roles were played by Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto in India. The net sales figure for this April was 2022 units as against 1289 units sold last year. With April closing the fiscal 2009-10 on a happy note Fiat India has witnessed a net growth of 57% in sales. This 57% is a cumulative growth figure, with domestic market sales rising by 49.3% and exports recording 164% elevation.

The net sales figure for this April was 2022 units as against 1289 units sold last year. With April closing the fiscal 2009-10 on a happy note Fiat India has witnessed a net growth of 57% in sales. This 57% is a cumulative growth figure, with domestic market sales rising by 49.3% and exports recording 164% elevation.

The current portfolio of Fiat motors in India consists of Fiat Palio, Fiat Grande Punto, Fiat 500 and Fiat Linea. The individual sales of each of these models have been as Linea - 960 units, Grande Punto- 840 units, Linea Export- 1 unit, Punto Export- 221 units, Palio Domestic & Export- 0 units, Fiat500- 0 units in this fiscal year.

These amazing range of cars have been the products of Fiat India automobiles Limited (FIAL). FIAL is a joint venture between the Fiat group automobiles and Tata Motors Limited. The company is located at Ranjangaon in the Pune District of Maharashtra with around 2775 employees taking care of the company's activities. Five nominees each from Fiat and Tata form the board of directors of the JV.

This Joint venture set up at Ranjangaon has a production capacity of 200,000 cars and 300,000 engines in addition to 300,000 parts & accessories. The plant currently manufactures Palio Stile 1.1, Grande Punto, Linea, 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engines and 1.2 & 1.4 litre Fire gasoline engine. This plant is a great source of direct or indirect employment.

i want to purchase Fiat Linea Dynamic model but confused about engine power, torque and wigt/power or torque/ power ratio. kindly suggest whetehr tp purchase the same. All issues relatd to after sale services.
