Fiat India rolls out attractive offers on Punto and Linea
Fiat India made its debut in the Indian auto market in collaboration with Tata India however Tata-Fiat joint venture was not so fruitful for Fiat India and this venture is expected to dilute by 2011-2012. In addition to this, sales statistics of Fiat India have revealed that in June 2011, the company managed to sell only 350 Fiat Linea cars, 1150 Fiat Punto cars and 6 Fiat palio cars. From these figures it is clear that Fiat India is dwindling for sales in the Indian auto market and so as to restore its volumes and goodwill in the Indian auto market, this Itallian company is opting for various strategies.

In line with this, Fiat India has recently echoed for a fascinating offer on Fiat cars so as to attract large volumes. This offer is applicable only on the hatchback car Fiat Punto and the sedan car Fiat Linea effective July 1, 2011 to July 31, 2011. Under this offer, if a customer purchase Fiat Punto or Fiat Linea then the customer is eligible to participate in the contest and will be allotted a lucky draw coupon however, if the customer is not willing to participate in the contest then the customer will be rewarded with fuel vouchers worth Rs. 6500, in addition to this, customer can also avail the facility of free roadside assistance and rebate on insurance premium.

What a lame offer. 20 lucky people? is this offer a joke or something. If the company is barely managing to sell 350 lineas, it means there is an overall weakness in their strategy. This offer is not going to help them push sales.
