Speculations are rife that Chevrolet Sail is the car likely to replace the Aveo U-VA hatchback in the country. The stark naked Chevrolet Sail save the badging, has been spotted recently during the test rounds. The spotted model clearly shows that the new version is not too different from the outgoing model. Not much can be commented upon the interiors, which was not clearly visible under the conditions. However, a 1.2 L petrol engine or a possibility of a 1.4 L cannot be ruled out. A diesel engine of some unknown capacity is also likely to be on the cards, though the present model is completely devoid of the diesel powertrain.
