2014 Renault Koleos launched

Renault India, en-route its official Facebook page, has finally unveiled the all new 2014 Renault Koleos. Expected to be unveiling at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, Renault, surprisingly, has revealed it before hand. The company has presented it in three variants - 4x2 MT, 4x4 MT, and 4x4 AT with prices Rs. 22.33 lakhs, Rs 25.14 lakhs and Rs. 26.19 lakhs, respectively (Ex. Showroom, Delhi).

Expected to be unveiling at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, Renault, surprisingly, has revealed it before hand. As far as the exterior appearance is concerned, Renault has presented the 2014 Koleos SUV with new front radiator grille and chrome side protectors. The french auto giant has prefectly blended style, comfort, technology, and elegance in order to offer it a completely never-seen-before avatar. It has been presented with four dynamic colors - White Pearl, Ultra Silver, Black Metallic and Maple Red. Inside the cabin, it is presented with two shades - Black Fabric & Beige Harmony. Additionally, it has adjustable seats, luxurious upholstery, automatic air conditioning system and BOSE Entertainment system, comprising of 8 speakers, sub-woofers and digital amplifier, to make it more plush and up-market than ever. Boot space of 450 litres is icing on the cake.

Renault Koleos is powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, that churns out a maximum power output of 148bhp and 320Nm of torque. This engine offers a fuel efficiency of 17.15kmpl. The remaining two all wheel drive models get the same engine which is tuned appreciably well in order to offer more power output. Both produce 171bhp of top power and 360Nm of top torque, while the power is transmitted to all four wheels via a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The manual 4WD version returns an impressive 16.26kmpl of mileage, while the automatic Koleos offers a fuel economy of 14.56kmpl.
