Tata to apply for IPRs claims for Nano
Tata Motors thrilled the world by launching the world's cheapest car Tata Nano. To develop this unique car, several new technologies were introduced. So, in view to secure itself from copying or slight duplicate models by others, the company is planning to apply for IPRs (Intellectual Property Rights) claims for Nano in the overseas markets.

Tata Motors has applied for patent protection on 37 inventions & innovations linked to the cheapest car of the world, Tata Nano. Tata Nano is being set for its domestic launch on 23rd March’09 and globally in 2011. Tata Motors has filed 400+ patent and design applications for their vehicles & its processes.
