Tata Nano surges sales of passenger cars for Toata Motors
The leading auto manufacturing company Tata Motors in a report published on Sunday revealed an increase of sale in its products from 57,199 units to 64,383 units from April 2009 to April 2010, thus making an overall increase of 13% in the sales by Tata Motors throughout the world. Overcoming and leaving the drawbacks of disappointing beginning Tata Motor’s dream Project of launching Tata Nano is one the way to success.

The company reports also revealed that the same progress was reported in the sale of passenger vehicles where the sales of company increased from 23,099 units to 23,387 units from April 2009 to April 2010, thus making an increase of 1.24 percent in the sales of Tata products. The highest jump in the sales of 184% was seen in the sales of Tata Nano when the company manufactured the 10,000th unit of Tata Nano on the roads. The performance of other cars of Tata Motors showed a mix performance. For instance Tata Indica with sale of 4,250 units showed decline of 53 percent,

Tata Indigo also witnessed the mix performance of 27% by sale of 5,282, the relaxing news was an increase in the sale of cars like Tata Sumo, Tata Safari and Tata Aria which reports the sales 3,843 thus making an increase 15% as compared to April 2010. The company reports also revealed the same results for other vehicles in other segments of Tata Motors. The commercial vehicles registered an increase of 19% in the sales as compared to last year. The same was reported for light commercial and medium and heavy commercial vehicles which marked an increase of 28% and 6 percent respectively as compared to April 2010.
