Tata Motors is ready to launch Tata Nano in February in Indian market. Both models of Tata Nano, base model and luxury/delux model will be available at the dealer showrooms by the end of February.

The third largest auto manufacturer of India, Tata Motors planning to invest additional $435 million for the production of Tata Nano to nail down the production timeline with production slated to start in February, that means Tata Motors will doubling its investment plan for the production of Tata Nano. Tata Motors is strongly supported by the Uttarakhand government which announced few days back to provide the company an additional 45 acres of land at its Pantnagar plant. The Tata Motors plans to invest additional $435 million and allotment of additional land by Uttarakhand government will help the company to launch Tata Nano in February this year.
According to the new plan, Tata Motors expecting to produce 7000 Tata Nano by the end of March and expects the production of Tata Nano will be scaled up to 80,000 over the next year. Previously, Tata Nano launch is scheduled in October 2008 but was delayed due to Singur imbroglio. Now, Tata Motors will launch Tata Nano launch in February end and it will reach the dealers showroom by the end of February 2009.
