Tata Nano Europa to hit market by 2012
Tata Nano, the cheapest and the most popular car in the Indian market, is all set to be launched in the markets in Europe and USA by the end of year 2012. An array of changes will be made in the car to make it compatible to the safety and emission standards of these countries. With this, the new Tata Nano will also be carrying a series of luxury and comfort features that could include Power Steering, Power Windows, AC and even airbags. The new fully loaded version that will be launched in the European market has been named as 'Nano Europa'. The Europa will not only host some of the latest generation features but come equipped by a more powerful engine. It is also speculated that after launching this model in the European market, its Indian launch may follow after a few months.

Loaded with luxury features, the deluxe version of Nano is expected to cost as much as 30,000 higher than the top end model of current Nano. According to a statement given by the company's MD, PM Telang to a leading Indian news daily, there is a chance of Tata Motors launching the Nano Europa in the Indian market also. He added that the new Nano will have several additional features like a more powerful engine, power steering, airbags, ABS as well as higher structural strengths.

Meanwhile in India, the company has inaugurated the second plant of Tata Nano at Sanand, in Gujarat. With the help of this new plant, the company is all set to sell the Nano model off the shelves in the Indian market, from next month. The launch of a new luxury model will further strengthen its position in the Indian market.
