Tata Nano announced first one lakh Nano allottees
Tata Motors has announced the name of the first one lakh Nano allotments. The list is available on its official website www.tatanano.com. The status of successful and unsuccessful customers is also uploaded in detail. The winners will have their cars on doorsteps in the first week of July.

The first one lakh deliveries are expected to be completed by the last quarter of 2010. In the first round, 60,000 Nanos will be delivered and rest 40,000 allottees will have to wait till the next year. As per the press release of the company, deliveries to the 55,021-retainees will begin after the first 100,000 deliveries. Tata Motors will return the booking amount to those “unsuccessful applicants” (numbering 52,000 based on the total bookings less the allottees and retainees) who do not want to retain it with the company.
