SBI to become sole lander for Tata Nano
India's largest Public Sector bank State Bank of India has made a tie up with car manufacturer Tata Motors to finance India's most awaited car Tata Nano. SBI's chief general manager Jayanta Kumar Sinha on Friday said that a formal announcement will be made soon to this effect. Recently Tata Motors announced a collaboration with SBI which also includes promotion of each others products in each other's premises.

In a press conference Mr Sinha said that SBI will now be the sole booking agent for Tata Nano. Although he refused to revel details of the arrangement between SBI and Tata Motors on the Nano booking process the bank is sole lander for Tata Nano but denied to disclose further details. With the SBI branches the sales touch points of Tata Motors all across India will help buyers to submit their application form and help in loan process.
