Ailing Tata Nano to get a jump-start From Tata

The big dream from Ratan Tata is just not taking the shape as it was planned and expected to. Tata Nano which faced abysmal ordering demand at the time of its launch is today standing at a position where the its demand has dipped by striking 85%. This is the least expected response from Tata Nano. The beautiful bug was released in 2008 and the launched made people raise from their chairs as this was the world's cheapest car. But two years down the line Nano is struggling hard with total sale of only 509 units.

Though other models of Tata Motors are performing well in market but the black mark is only with its most famous Nano. Analysis say that Tata Nano failed to give proper safety to its users which is major reason of declined demand in market.

Some other analysis says that safety measures is not the only reason of its failure in market but the problem lies with the fact that Tata is not able to place and advertise its product in targeted market well. With this model Ratan Tata intended to bring a good option to those families who travel on two wheelers with their kids standing and taking the most inconvenient ride. He wanted to deliver a safe and better option to these users and keep them safe from bad weather as well. But at the same time the maintenance of the car is high and though its a people car, but still somewhere restricts them to choose it as the best option.

For people earning below 10,000 says that its difficult to maintain the car plus the parking issues prohibit them from buying one. On the other hand a person earning around 80,000 a month denies Tata Nano saying that the first car needs to be stand out from other models and Tata Nano is just not the option. So with this we see that the major problem with this people's car is that it is not able to place itself correctly in market thus facing low demand.
