80,000 Tata Nano in the year 2009-2010

It is expected that the Tata Motors will come up with nearly 80,000 Nano cars in the year 2009-10 and also is expecting to launch these cars by the end of the February. The Pantnagar plant of the company at Uttarakhand is the expected area for the production of these car models all before the real production house that being Sanand plant is ready to work upon.

It is expected that by the end of the march month the company is going to produce nearly 7,000 cars and
nearly 80,000 cars by the next financial year. The expected that pantnagar plant will nearly produce 15,000 Nano but the real number just reached half of the suggested number. Initially the target for the company was nearly 96,000 cars but later it decreased to 50,000 cars because of the violation going on in Singur. Moreover it has come to the knowledge of the company that they are willing to supply the car parts to the company for the engine components at their Pune plant and another to at Pantnagar plant.
