Volvo XC40- Looks Uncovered
Volvo XC40 has been in talks for some time now. The hype around the stylish crossover has been growing ever since the news broke out with the under-the-cover pictures, last month. To further add on to the hype is the recently seen undisguised pictures that were shared by a user through his flickr account.
To refresh your memory about the features of the compact crossover, it is based on the Volvo V40. One of the major differences between the two is the increased ground clearance of the XC40 as compared to the V40. The recently disclosed pictures of the XC40 show a slightly redesigned front bumpers and fog-lights. Under the hood, the it is expected to be more or less similar to the V40. The speculations are that the crossover would be seen with diesel and petrol engine options with varied power outputs. The petrol mill is expected to range from 148bhp to 250bhp and the diesel is expected to deliver power from 113bhp to 172bhp. The option of an all-wheel drive system is also expected along with the front-wheel drive.
The vehicle is expected to be unveiled during the Paris Motor Show which is due in September. The new additions and looks add to the rugged looks of the compact crossover XC40, which is also expected to make its way to India a little later.
