Latest Update: Volvo has launched the facelifted XC40, which now gets a mild-hybrid powertrain.
Price: The new XC40 is priced at Rs 45.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: It is sold in a single trim: the B4 Ultimate.
Seating Capacity: The XC40 has a five-seater configuration.
Engine and Transmission: It gets a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a 48-volt electric motor that produces a combined output of 197PS and 300Nm. Volvo has launched the all-electric version of the XC40, called the XC40 Recharge, in India.
Features: The XC40 features a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, dual zone climate control with rear AC vents, a 13-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, front and rear heated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety: It gets autonomous driving with lane keep aid and radar-based cruise control and recently updated rear cross traffic alert. Additional safety features comprise multiple airbags, hill start assist, hill descent control and park pilot assist.
Rivals: It rivals the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and the 2022 Audi Q3.
Volvo XC40 Recharge: Volvo XC40 Recharge is the electric version of the SUV, which comes in a single fully loaded variant priced at Rs 56.90 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
