Vitara Brezza Caught on Camera Ahead of its Launch

Priced at an amazing Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the car is sure to be successful, given the features and styling it comes in. The car features attractive colour options to suit one's individual taste. The DDiS200 diesel mill in the Brezza gives it a class leading fuel economy of 24.3kmpl and a 0 to 100kmph run of 13.3 seconds. It boasts many segment first features, both inside and outside the car. Maruti Vitara Brezza is all set to be launched on March 8 and the Indo-Japanese carmaker has caught us all with surprise. A batch of Brezzas, consisting of at least four cars in different colors, were spotted on the road during a commercial shoot.

A lot has been talked about Maruti’s to-be-launched compact SUV. The car was first unveiled at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo, where we had a quick look at what the Brezza is all about. Competing with the likes of the Ford EcoSport the Mahindra TUV300, the Brezza looks prepared to take on its rivals. Some standard features include a touchscreen infotainment system with Suzuki SmartPlay and Apple CarPlay, driver side airbag ABS with EBD.

The unique design has definitely impressed many. The carmaker is offering a dual-tone color scheme as well, with the roof being finished in a separate color from the body.

The Brezza will be diesel only, with duties being carried out by the tried and tested, 1.3-litre DDiS200 diesel mill rated at 89 bhp and 200 Nm. Despite the likes of the Ford EcoSport Duster prevailing in the segment, we think that the Maruti Brezza will carve its own niche thanks to the upmarket styling, plush interiors and the plethora of features. We expect the prices of the Vitara Brezza to start at around Rs 8 lacs.
