Toyota Etios is the latest offering from automobile major Toyota Motors. The new small car will be launched in Kolkatta, in the coming six days. With the customer response on its zenith, the company is on a travelling spree showcasing its next entrant across various cities in India.

Toyota Etios is the latest offering from automobile major Toyota Motors. The new small car will be launched in Kolkatta, in the coming six days. With the customer response on its zenith, the company is on a travelling spree showcasing its next entrant across various cities in India.
According to the recent speculations, Etios will travel to 10 major cities in India that would include Calicut, Goa, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Siliguri, Guwahati, Varanasi, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Indore and Surat. The weekends would be used by the company for promoting its current portfolio, in these 10 cities.
India has been recognised as the fastest growing automobile market and many car-majors are fastening their seat belts to capture the biggest pie in this market. Toyota Motors too, seems to be joining the league as its strategy to launch a car in the mass-market is a testimony to the fact that the company is aiming to make a strong impact in the Indian market.
The company is expecting huge sales revenue from Etios and that is why it has taken the task of arranging such grand showcases in 10 major cities of India. This expenditure seems to be a great investment for the company in terms of Brand-image.
Toyota is especially taking efforts to make a strong impact on the Indian market and introduce the car to mass-market. Etios is a product, slated to generate volume sales for the company and this is the reason that Toyota has taken such a task of arranging shows in major cities of India.
“From our point of view, it will help us understand what these potential buyers want of the products, especially the Etios,” said Mr Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor. The other vehicles on display will include Innova, Fortuner, Land Cruiser Prado, Camry, Corolla Altis and Prius.
