Toyota Auris - New Hatch from Toyota

The scanned images for the Toyota Auris hatchback have been seen taking rounds all-over the WorldWide Web. The images have been sourced from the brochure of the Japanese Domestic Market Toyota Auris hatchback. One can see various available trim levels and along with that even a proposed aero package has also surfaced.

The European model is almost the same, with the difference of the Toyota logo. The Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) model will be un-covered somewhere in mid-august. Initially the model will be made available with two petrol engine options.  

The mills will be a 1.5-litre engine that is capable of producing 102bhp with the 4-Wheel Drive Option and 105bhp with Front Wheel Drive option and a 1.8-litre engine that generated 142bhp in FWD (Front Wheel Drive) models and 141bhp in the All Wheel Drive models.

The 4-cylinder engines for the Auris will be the first Toyota models that will be sourced from BMW, under the deal which was signed between the two auto giants in the year 2011.The new compact hatchback will also be available in a hybrid model which will use the powerhouse that is used in the Prius. Toyota will also present a station-wagon body style 5-door hatchback.
