Coming back to the Model Y, it’s the carmaker’s entry-level electric SUV and is offered here in two variants: Rear-wheel Drive and Long Range Rear-wheel Drive. If you had your eyes set on it, then here’s a quick overview:
Tesla Model Y: Exterior Design

Sleek and futuristic is one of the best ways to describe the Tesla Model Y’s design. The fascia gets a sleek LED light bar and the headlights are placed below in an aggressively styled housing. You get a fully blanked off grille with a small opening in the lower section of the bumper for cooling important components.
In profile, it gets muscular haunches above the wheel arches and the sloping roofline gives it a proper sporty look. The India-spec model sits on 19-inch alloy wheels and there are flush door handles to help for better aerodynamic efficiency. Rounding off the overall look is the sleek LED light bar at the rear.
Tesla Model Y: Interior Design
Step inside the Model Y and you’re greeted by a dashboard that looks minimalistic. There are almost zilch physical controls as almost all of the car’s functions are controlled through the massive 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The lower centre console boasts dual wireless phone charging pads and there are plenty of storage places to store your knick knacks.
