Rolls-Royce aiming to sale 50 units in India this year

An authorized dealer of Rolls-Royce said that Rolls-Royce is expecting to sell total 50 units this year in India. This will include Ghost 2010 series, the newly launched model of the company. Sharad Kachalia, Director, Sales and Marketing, Navnit Motors, the authorised Rolls Royce dealer for West and South region said that they are receiving an overwhelming response for the car in the country. He also added that it will take 2-3 months time for the delivery of the car after the firm order. Kachalia also said that they are expecting to sell 50 units this year. 

Kachalia also said that now the demand for the car is gradually shifting from the royal families to the young entrepreneurs who are successful in their ventures. 90 pc of the 700 Rolls are still running on the Indian roads and all these 90 pc are those which were imported to India during pre-independence days, said Kachalia.

Kachalia also told that Chiranjeevi, Praja Rajyam Party chief and his actor son Ram Charan have showed interest in Rolls Royce. He added further that he personally met Chiranjeevi and his son. However they cannot say at this time whether the deal can be closed positively. The new Rolls Royce Ghost is priced between Rs 2.5-Rs 2.7 crore in India. The British car maker has sold around 30 units in the country this year.
