Porsche brings Panamera in India

Porsche launched its Panamera, first four-door GT sportscar, in India, recently. The car is launched in three variants- Porsche Panamera S, Porsche Panamera 4S and Porsche Panamera Turbo. The price tag of the high-end cars are Rs 1.44 crore, Rs 1.49 crore and Rs 2.05 crore, respectively. All these variants are perfect blend of sports and luxurious cars. The car is positioned against BMW 7-series, Audi A8 and Mercedes-Benz S class. The Porsche Panamera S and Porsche Panamera 4S are equipped with 4.8 litre V8 engine and 400 PS while the Porsche Panamera Turbo is powered by a 4.8L V8 Twin-turbo engine.

All these variants are perfect blend of sports and luxurious cars. The car is positioned against BMW 7-series, Audi A8 and Mercedes-Benz S class. The Porsche Panamera S and Porsche Panamera 4S are equipped with 4.8 litre V8 engine and 400 PS while the Porsche Panamera Turbo is powered by a 4.8L V8 Twin-turbo engine. The trademark features of the company, like four-seat, headlamp shape and arrangement and 911-style curvaceous tail, are retained. This time one thing is new in the new product that is placement of engine. Porsche Panamera's power mill is installed at front as in Cayenne SUV. There are a couple of launches in the pipeline- Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Yeti.
