Nissan NV200 to be launched in India
Nissan Motors intends to introduce NV200, company’s multi-utility vehicle, in the Indian market. This model of Nissan has already been in news. The model was even seen around Chennai at the time of its testing. The Japanese automaker is launching its first MPV in the Indian market through Nissan NV200. Commercially, Nissan NV200 will be available by the year 2012. The new vehicle of Nissan called Nissan NV200 will be competing with the upcoming Maruti Suzuki's MPV- Maruti R3 which is based on the R3 concept.

The new Nissan NV200 will also be competing with Toyota Avanza, the low-end model of Toyota.
The new Nissan NV200 will be powered by a 1500 cc diesel engine of the Renault Logan. This engine would produce 85 hp which will be transmitted through a 5-speed gearbox. The torque here will be 200 Nm. The Nissan NV200 will be 4.4m in length, 1.86 m in height and 1.69m in width. The new car of Nissan will also have the aerodynamic style. This style will surely raise its fuel efficiency. The other features of this new model will include the ABS, EBD and Brake Assist.
Nissan NV200 has been conferred with the & International Van of The Year & Award 2010. This model has the capacity of carrying seven passengers along with their whole luggage. Till now, no comments have been made about the final technical details or price of this model of Nissan.
