Nissan India Registers 23.3 % Profit in December 2014!

Nissan India witness a profit of 23.3 per cent in the last month of 2014. The Japanese automaker has rolled out 3,158 units in December 2014 compared to 2,561 units in the same period in 2013. Moreover, speaking of the April-December 2014 (FY Sales to Date) sales, Nissan records a hefty profit of 45.4 per cent, selling 35,047 vehicles compared to 24,095 vehicles in corresponding time-2013.

In 2014, Nissan showcased Sunny facelift at the Auto Expo and launched it coupled of months later. The facelifted sedan welcomes a fresh new facade and updated interiors along with new added features. Nissan India also updated the Evalia MPV this year and launched a limited production Terrano anniversary edition. As per the upcoming products in 2015, Terrano is reportedly getting AWD (All Wheel Drive) chassis this year along with added goodies, just like the Duster 4WD. 

Adding on the Terrano 4WD, the compact SUV will get independent multi-link rear suspensions and shift-on-fly 4WD. Like the Duster 4WD, expect traction control, ETC (Electronic Torque Control), ESP (Electronic Stability programme), ASR (AntiSkid Resistance), HSR (Hill Start Assist) and cruise control. Moreover, Terrano 4WD is likely to be based on the top-end trim and similar to that of Duster AWD, it will come with added features, new upholstery and an updated infotainment system.
