Nissan Evalia now available at a special price of Rs. 7.99 Lakh

Test Drive #Nissan #Evalia today:", Nissan India has announced a new special price of Rs. 7.99 lakh for its flagship MPV Evalia. Nissan Evalia is priced at Rs. 8.70 lakh, with special offer it costs around 70 thousand lesser. With the introduction of new product Chevrolet Enjoy, which is selling 2,500 units regularly, the competition among the three- Ertiga, Evalia and Enjoy has become more furious. Few days back, we reported that Nissan India is planning to launch a revamped Evalia, which is likely to get some design changes, interior upgrades and upmarket quality.

Nissan Evalia (aka NV200) has been a hugely successful vehicle in the global markets, and Nissan launched this MPV last year to capitalize the growing utility vehicle segment in India. However, Evalia failed to impress the buyers, as it looks more of a utility vehicle instead of a family one. When compared with Ertiga, Innova and others, Evalia lacks in style and other appealing factors. It sports fixed middle and rear windows and sliding doors, which is available in Van.

Nissan has recently launched an all-new Micra in India, and is working on facelifts of Sunny sedan and Evalia MPV. The facelift of Evalia is expected to hit the Indian shores by festive season (Diwali), and is expected to house captain seats instead of bench seats, sliding windows, and much more improved plastic quality. The Evalia is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission, and offers an excellent fuel economy of 19.3kmpl.
