New Ford Fiesta AT coming on February 28th

Ford India is all set to launch the charismatic Ford Fiesta Powershift Automatic in the domestic market on February 28th. Fiesta is the leader in the C segment sedan series in terms of technology used. The new Fiesta in the automatic avatar is expected to hold an edge over its competitors in C segment. The sedan will come affixed with an impressive 6 speed dual clutch powershift automatic transmission, this automatic transmission will be mated to a 1.5 l Ti VCT petrol engine.

The price of the new Ford Fiesta AT is likely to be more than the manual gearbox. Having said that, Ford India may go with the option of launching 2 different versions of the new Ford Fiesta AT in order to cover and attract a larger section of customers.

However the diesel variant of the Ford Fiesta will be continued with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Further to make the car more attractive, it is being offered in Paprika red colour. The company is claiming a very impressive mileage of 16.45 kmpl which is even better than the petrol variant with manual gearbox.
